Age Group is determined by the wrestler’s age on December 31, 2011.
Tournaments have the option to block Heavyweights to ensure matches; however there
should be no more than a 20 pound spread between competitors in age group 07/06/05,
no more than a 25 pound spread between competitors in age groups 04/03 and 02/01.
And a 30 pound spread between competitors in age groups 00/99 and 98/97.
Anyone born in 1996 must send proof that they are still in 8th grade when they
register for their MYWA membership
